Scored only goal, a game winner, in 2-1 victory over Appalachian State on November 2. 2002: Started 17 matches while seeing action in 22 contests as a midfielder and defender...recorded two assists on the season...played a key role in Furman's defense that set an NCAA Division I record as it recorded 11 straight shutouts between October 9 and November 27 while not allowing a goal for 1,129 minutes...helped Furman extend its SoCon unbeaten streak to an NCAA record 43 matches...helped to guide Furman to a 19-3-1 overall record, an appearance in the third round of the NCAA Tournament, and a final national ranking of eighth by Soccer America. 2001: Worked his way into the Paladin lineup, seeing action in 18 matches while starting five...notched one goal and one assist on the season...goal came in a 7-2 victory over VMI. High School/Club Soccer: 2001 graduate of Poteet High School...led Poteet to region quarterfinal finishes in 1999 and 2001...named all-district defensive player-of-the-year and the all area team as a senior and to the all-district team as a sophomore...led the Solar club to the 2000 Texas state championship, a region semifinal appearance, as well as championships at the Disney Soccer Showcase and the Classic League...a member of the North Texas ODP team in 1996, 1998, and 1999...also lettered in basketball and track, earning all-district honors in baseball...a member of the student council, Who's Who of American High School Students, and the Crimestoppers.
