Greenville, S.C. – Fresh off their first win of 2017, Furman men's lacrosse welcomes Michigan to Greenville on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. matchup inside Paladin Stadium.

The Paladins (1-4) picked up their first win of the season on Sunday, downing Mount St. Mary's 14-7 on the Mount's home field in Emmitsburg, Md. Freshman Lou Yovino turned in his first career hat trick to lead Furman in scoring, while Jonah Moore tallied a team-high three points with a goal and three assists. Freshman Alec Van de Bovenkamp picked up his first career win in goal, making eight saves.
Michigan (5-1) comes to Greenville after downing Mercer on Thursday night in Macon, 11-6. » Behind a strong second quarter during which U-M outscored Mercer 6-1, Ian King had two tallies and Decker Curran had a goal and an assist, U-M held a 10-2 lead at the halftime intermission. Sophomore Brent Noseworthy had three goals for his fourth hat trick of the season. He now leads the team with 21 goals on the year. Sophomore Rocco Sutherland had three assists on the night, a new career high, and is now tied for the team lead in helpers with nine.
