Paladin Golfers In 14th at Wolverine Intercollegiate

ANN ARBOR, Michigan - The Furman golf team carded 292-300 on Saturday and is in 14th with a 592 total entering the third and final round of the Wolverine Intercollegiate at the University of Michigan Golf Course.
Greenville freshman Garland Ferrell paced the Paladins with rounds of 71-68 at the 6,704-yard, par 71 U of M course and is tied for seventh in the individual standings at 139. Sophomore Ben Goforth (Shelby, N.C.) is tied for 54th at 149 after rounds of 73-75, while freshman Jordan Felts of Myrtle Beach is in 72nd after shooting 73-78.
Jonathan Bowden, a freshman from Easley, S.C., counted in both rounds on Saturday, and is tied for 77th at 154 after carding 75-79, and senior T.J. Blandford (Paradise Valley, Ariz.) recorded a pair of 79s to stand tied for 80th at 158.
Round three of the Wolverine Intercollegiate is slated for an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday.
