Greenville, S.C. -- The Furman men's and women's golf programs will host the 2007 Furman College Pro-Am on Saturday, September 22, at the Furman University Golf Course.

As part of the day's activities, the Furman golfers will hold a free junior golf clinic from 9-10 a.m. at the golf course driving range. Boys and girls ages 17 and under are invited to attend.

The pro-am begins at 11 a.m. following a breakfast for participants at the Betty Ellison Pavilion from 8-10 a.m. A silent auction and club testing for amateurs will also take place beginning at 8 a.m. Dinner and an awards ceremony will take place at the pavilion at 4 p.m.
