Satterfield Elected To Golf Coaches Of America Advisory Board

Greenville, S.C. - Furman men's golf coach Todd Satterfield has been elected to the position of third vice president of the national advisory board of the Golf Coaches Association of America for 2006-08, it was announced at the organization's annual National Coaches Convention in Daytona Beach, Fla., in January.
Satterfield's term as third vice president begins on July 1, 2006 and will run through June of 2008. The third vice president rotates to second vice president and first vice president before serving as president.
The GCAA is made up of men's golf coaches from all three NCAA divisions as well as NAIA and junior colleges. Along with sponsoring the collegiate all-american and all-scholar teams, the GCAA runs the Palmer Cup Matches and U.S./Japan Match.
