Final Results 
Chattanooga, Tenn. -- Three Paladins fired rounds of par or better, including a final round 70 by Austin Reeves, as the Furman men’s golf team claimed fourth place at the Aldila Scenic City Invitational at the par-72 Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Tuesday.
Sophomore Matt Broome (70-70-72=212) earned a share of sixth place with a final round 72 while Reeves 973-72-70=215) finished in a tie for 15th place at one-under par. Senior Daniel Bowden (72-72-72=216) played the final 18 holes at even par to share 17th place.
Middle Tennessee State (287-286-278=851) took first place with a 10-under 278 on Tuesday. The Blue Raiders finished three strokes ahead of second place Wichita State and 11 strokes better than third place finisher Southern Miss. Furman (289-286-288), Missouri, Charlotte, host Chattanooga, Iowa State, Kennesaw State and Eastern Michigan rounded out the top 10 finishers in the 16-team field.
The tournament finished with co-medalists as MTSU’s Kent Bulle (72-68-70=210) and Hunter Green (69-70-71=210) shared individual medalist honors with Wichita State’s Dustin Garza (69-68-73=210).
Furman will conclude its fall schedule November 2-3, at the WCU Invitational.
