Furman Finishes 13th At Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate

Franklin, Tenn. -- Jonathan Bowden carded a one under par 71 on Tuesday to claim a 24th place finish at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate hosted by Vanderbilt University.
Bowden (79-74-71=224) picked up 16 spots in the standings by improving three strokes on Monday's two over par 74. Chris Gilliland (75-84-74=233) concluded the 54-hole event with a round of 74 to help Furman to a team score of 302.
Ole Miss fired a final round 290 to cruise to an eight stroke victory over North Florida and Vanderbilt. Memphis' Kyle Peterman and Mercer's Silas Sutton shared individual medalist honors at three under par 213 for the three-round tournament.
The Furman golf team will be idle until opening its spring season at the Rio Pinar Intercollegiate February 19-20, in Orlando, Fla.
