Furman Slips To 12th At Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate

Franklin, Tenn. -- Jonathan Bowden posted a second round 74, but inconsistency continued to hamper Furman as the Paladins slipped to 12 at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate Monday.

Bowden moved into a tie for 40th after his two under par round to lead all Paladin golfers. Freshman Jack Ulrich, who stood 10th after a 73 on Sunday, slumped to 57th with an 83 in round two. Garland Ferrell and Chris Gilliland, who had both shot 75 in the opening round, also struggled posting scores of 80 and 84, respectively.

Braden List improved on a Sunday round of 82 with a second round three-over 75 at the Vanderbilt Legends Clubs' Ironhorse Course.

Ole Miss moved into sole possession of first place with a 296 on Monday. Vanderbilt enters final round action just one stroke off of the pace. The Commodores' Luke List (73-68=141) holds the individual lead after a four under par 68 on Monday.

Final round action is slated to begin on Tuesday morning.
