Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate Results 
Savannah, Ga. -- Five Furman players shot par or better as the Paladins earned a third place finish on Tuesday afternoon at the Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate at the par-72 Savannah Quarters Country Club.
Senior Daniel Bowden (72-67-72=211) carded an even-par 72 on Tuesday to grab a share of second place at five-under par while Austin Reeves (77-76-71=224), a native of Greenville, S.C., led the Paladins during the final round with a one-under 71 to finish in 36th.
Sophomore Anthony Aloi (77-70-72=219) placed 19th after firing a 72 while Garland Ferrell (79-71-72=222) and Matt Broome (76-75-72=223) finished 27th and 32nd, respectively, on the strength of an even par final round.
East Carolina’s David Watkins (68-68-69=205) cruised to a six-stroke victory while also helping the Pirates (284-280-288=852) to the team title. Wofford, Furman (302-283-287=872) , Old Dominion and Georgia Southern rounded out the top five.
Furman returns to action at the Aldila Scenic City Invitational in Chattanooga, Tenn., October 26-27.
