Furman Finishes 14th At Wolverine Intercollegiate

Ann Arbor, Mich. -- The Furman men's golf team posted a final round 300 to place 14th at the Wolverine Intercollegiate Sunday morning at the University of Michigan Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Garrett Schneider (70-72-73=215) concluded a strong weekend shooting a one ver par 73 to finish in a tie for 15th place. Chris Gilliland carded a three-round four over par to notch a 23rd place finish.

Oregon State's Mitch Gillis (65-70-72=207) took individual honors at six under par for the 54-hole event. Gillis edged Michigan's Nick Pamford by two strokes. Wisconsin (285-279=287=871) claimed the team title finishing 11 strokes ahead of second place Michigan.

Furman will return to action tomorrow in the Raines Development Group Intercollegiate in Florence, S.C.
