Paladins 12th After Two Rounds At Wolverine Intercollegiate

Ann Arbor, Mich. -- Furman's Garrett Schneider posted a first round 70 and second round 72 to grab a share of 12th place at even par after two rounds of the Wolverine Intercollegiate Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Furman carded rounds of 292 and 296 to take 12th place entering tomorrow's final round action. Chris Gilliland (72-71=143) is in a tie for 13th at one over par and Garland Ferrell (73-76=149) holds 55th spot after 36 holes. Robert Jamieson carded consecutive rounds of 77 to score in both rounds for Furman.

Wisconsin (285-279=564) owns the team lead by four strokes over Michigan and six strokes over Missouri through two rounds. Mitch Gilis (65-70=135) of Oregon State holds the individual lead at seven under par.

Final round action at the University of Michigan Golf Course is scheduled for Sunday morning.
