Chattanooga, Tenn. -- Ben Goforth notched a one-over par 72 and Jonathan Bowden fired a two-over 73 to lead Furman to a 12th place finish during Tuesday's final round of the Scenic City Invitational at Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Goforth (78-71-72=221), returning to the Paladin lineup after a redshirt year, registered two birdies and an eagle on No. 11 to post Furman's low round of the day. Bowden (70-69-73=212) completed a strong three round effort at one-under par and in a tie for 13th place.

Charlotte's Corey Nagy (68-68-67=203) carded a final round 67 to claim individual medalist honors by a three-stroke margin while leading the 49ers (272-271-279=822) to a seven stroke victory.

Furman returns to the course September 17-18, at the Raines Development Group Intercollegiate in Florence, S.C.
