Greenville, N.C. - The Furman men's golf team fired back-to-back rounds of 286 and 281, its two best rounds of the season, to grab a share of second place after day one of the Bradford Creek Intercollegiate Monday at the Bradford Creek Country Club in Greenville, N.C.
Sophomore Garland Ferrell (69-75=144) posted a three-under par 69 in round one to help the Paladins card a 286 and move into a share of second place. During round two, four of five Paladins posted under-par rounds led by Jonathan Bowden's (76-69=144) three-under 69.
