Furman Finishes 12th At USF/Dick Wittcoff Invitational

Tampa, Fla. -- Jonathan Bowden and Robert Jamieson each shot 73 in the final round at the Dick Wittcoff Invitational at the USF Golf Course in Tampa, Fla., on Sunday to help Furman to a 12th place finish.

The Paladins posted a final day 297, their lowest round of the three-day event. Bowden finished in a tie for 14th with a three-day total of 221 to lead all Paladins. Middle Tennessee State took team honors with an 871 to edge New Orleans by one stroke. Greg Koch of Florida Southern carded rounds of 69-72-70 to claim individual honors.

Furman will be back in action on March 13, when it tees off at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Aiken, S.C.
