Furman Shoots First Round 318 At Wexford Intercollegiate

Hilton Head, S.C. -- The Furman men's golf team fired an opening round 318 at the Wexford Intercollegiate at Wexford Country Club in Hilton Head, S.C. on Monday.

The Paladins are in 14th place after the first round action while USC Aiken (296, +8) holds the tournament lead. Garland Ferrell paced the Paladins with a five over par 77. Robert Jamieson carded a six over 78.

Round two, which was started on Monday, will be completed Tuesday morning before final round action begins late Tuesday morning.
