Furman Men's Golf in Sixth Place at Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate

Hilton Head Island, S.C. - The Furman men's golf team is in sixth place after 32 holes at the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate with a two-round 613 (301-312). The Paladins are 10 strokes off the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga's team-leading 603 (300-303).

The 54-hole event is being hosted by Francis Marion University at the par 72, 6,752-yard Wexford Plantation course. Fifteen teams are competing for the crown.

Three Paladins finished in the top 20 on the individual leader board. Braden List carded rounds of 77 and 74 to finish in a tie for 12th place. Garrett Schneider's 152 (73-79) was good for a share of 14th place. Jonathan Bowden is among five individuals in a tie for 18th place with his 153 (76-77).

Marquette's Mike Van Sickle is currently in first place overall after shooting a 142, including the day's low round of 69.

The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday, Feb. 27.
