GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Kickoff for Saturday's Furman-Richmond NCAA I-AA quarterfinal playoff game has been set for 6:00 p.m. at University of Richmond Stadium, the NCAA announced today.

The contest will be televised by ESPNU/EPSN Game Plan.

Furman (10-2), advanced to the playoff quarterfinals with a 14-12 win over Nicholls State on Saturday at Paladin Stadium. Richmond (9-3), meanwhile, claimed a 38-10 win at No. 3 seed Hampton Saturday evening to earn a spot in the eight-team quarterfinals. The Paladins have won nine of their last 10 games, and the Spiders have won eight straight following a 1-3 start.

The winner of the Furman-Richmond game will advance to the semifinals and face the winner of Saturday's Appalachian State-Southern Illinois contest.

Furman has won the last two meetings with Richmond, having claimed a 17-7 win at Richmond in 2002 and 31-17 decision in Greenville in 2003.
