Furman Aims For Third Straight Victory, Winning Season Against Western Carolina

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Coming off a 24-22 victory over 11th-ranked Georgia Southern in Statesboro and winners of three of its last four games, Furman travels to Cullowhee, N.C., this Saturday to take on Western Carolina in the regular season finale for both teams. Kickoff for the CSS televised game is set for Noon.

Furman, which owns two straight wins over Top 15-ranked opponents (Elon & Georgia Southern), needs a victory against Western Carolina to secure a winning campaign and claim a share of third place in the South Conference.

The contest will mark the final game for Furman's senior class, which has compiled a 34-15 record and 20-7 league mark over the last four seasons.
