Furman: Faces the challenging task of taking over for graduated All-Southern Conference split end Isaac West...sports five games of starting experience in his career...also has experience as a holder...transferred from Florida to Furman in January of 2003...former Gator teammate of Paladin quarterback Ingle Martin, who joined the Furman program in January of 2004...finished third in the 110 meter hurdles (14.84) at the 2004 Southern Conference Track & Field Championships. 2004 -- Ranked third on the squad in receiving with 18 catches for 222 yards...helped Furman post a 10-3 record, SoCon title, and No. 5 final national ranking...collected four catches for 34 yards against The Citadel (33-14 win)...caught a pair of passes for 46 yards against Wofford (31-24 win), including a season long 42-yarder to set up a key second half score...named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll. 2003 -- Caught 21 passes for 309 yards and a touchdown...also rushed for a score...nabbed a season high six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown while also rushing 20 yards for a score on a reverse in a 24-7 season opening win over Elon...earned starts at split end in Furman's first three games and five contests overall...had four catches for 57 yards versus Western Carolina, including a season long 43-yard reception on a 3rd-and-17 play from the Furman 30-yard line with 2:30 to go in the game. 2002 -- Sat out Florida's football season prior to transferring to Furman in January of 2003. 2001 -- Lettered as a member of Florida's football program, seeing action as holder on placements.
