GREENVILLE, S.C. -- All 11 Furman football games in 2018 will be broadcast, it was confirmed today by the Southern Conference, which announced the league's complete television/streaming schedule.
All five Paladin home games will be televised by WYCW Channel 62, which serves the Upstate of South Carolina, western North Carolina, and northeastern Georgia, and carried nationally over either ESPN+ or ESPN3. In addition, four of Furman's six away games will be available to fans over the ESPN+ or ESPN3 networks.
The Paladins' Sept. 1 season opener at Clemson will be televised by the ACC Network, and Furman's Sept. 8 contest at Elon will be carried by CollegeSportsLive.com.
Furman's Sept. 15 home game versus Colgate and Sept. 22 road clash with East Tennessee State will be available nationally over ESPN3.
The Paladins' next four games — home contests against Western Carolina (Sept. 29), Wofford (Oct. 13), and Samford (Oct. 20), and road showdown versus The Citadel (Oct. 27) — are slated to be carried over ESPN+.
Furman's Nov. 3 contest in Paladin Stadium against Chattanooga is an ESPN3 broadcast, and the Paladins' final two regular season games — road contests against VMI (Nov. 10) and Mercer (Nov. 17) — are planned for ESPN+.
As previously announced Furman's broadcast team for its five home games this fall includes Bob Mihalic (play-by-play) and Sam Wyche (analyst).
