GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman football will kick off spring practice on Friday, Feb. 24, according to new head coach Clay Hendrix
The Paladins have 15 practices scheduled over a 34-day period as allowed by NCAA rules, not counting official university dates for spring break.
Furman's annual Purple-White Scrimmage is tentatively set for Saturday, March 25, in Paladin Stadium at a time to be determined.
Approximately 68 players are expected to take part in spring drills.
The Paladins project to return 11 starters off last year's squad.
Furman opens its 2017 season on Sept. 2 against SoCon foe Wofford in Spartanburg.
