Furman: Returning starter...2011 coaches preseason All-Southern Conference selection...combines good size with outstanding hands and mobility...worked hard this spring to improve blocking skills...came to Furman as a walk-on quarterback before moving to tight end. 2010 — Took over starting duties at tight end following the graduation of All-SoCon performer Chris Truss...performed well, catching 16 passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns...ranked fourth on the team in receptions and second in touchdown catches...recorded receptions in nine games...top performance came against Chattanooga (4 rec., 70 yds., 2 TDs), with scoring grabs covering 17 and 27 yards...had a 12-yard touchdown catch vs. Howard (56-14 win)...caught three passes for 40 yards against The Citadel (31-14 win) and had a season best 31-yard catch at Elon. 2009 — Saw limited action in all 11 games but displayed solid ability, catching four passes for 105 yards and a touchdown...pulled down a 29-yard reception in heavy coverage to give Furman a first down at the Chattanooga 1-yard line and set up a late second quarter touchdown in an eventual 38-20 victory...had a 33-yard touchdown catch versus Appalachian State...finished his season with a 29-yard catch versus Wofford (58-21 win)...inaugural recipient of Furman’s Spear Sedgely Hustle Award following the season...selected to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.  2008 — Member of scout team...did not see any action.
