GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman Paladins return home this Saturday to take on the Western Carolina Catamounts in a Southern Conference clash at Paladin Stadium. Kickoff for the CSS televised game is set for 12:30 p.m.
Furman (4-4, 2-3 SoCon) heads into Saturday's clash having dropped two straight, including a 37-26 verdict to No. 1-ranked Appalachian State last Saturday in Boone. Two weeks ago Furman held a 28-10 fourth quarter lead over Chattanooga before falling, 36-28.
Western Carolina (2-6, 1-4 SoCon) was idle last Saturday. The Catamounts fell at home to Appalachian State, 37-14, two weeks ago, and have lost three straight.
