GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman running back Tersoo Uhaa (Tes-Oh, ooh-hah) and linebacker Kadarron Anderson have been named Sports Network Preseason All-Americans, it was annnounced today.
Uhaa, a 5-9, 210-pound junior from Gainesville, Ga., and Riverside Military Academy was named to the Sports Network's first team while Anderson, a 6-foot-1, 240-pound product from Greenwood, S.C., and Emerald High School, was a second team selection.
Uhaa rushed for a team leding 535 yards and 13 touchdowns a year ago and also paced the Paladins in scoring with 84 points. He averaged 4.1 yards per carry.
Anderson led Furman defensively with 123 tackles and six tackles-for-loss in 2009 in his first season as a starter. He was named to the Sports Network All-America third team following the season.
Furman opens its 2010 season at home on Sept. 11 against Colgate.
