Greenville, S.C. - The Furman Paladins will travel to Elon, N.C., to face the Elon Phoenix in Southern Conference men's basketball action Saturday night at Alumni Gym. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

The Paladins are 0-5 after dropping a 67-58 decision to Bowling Green on Tuesday evening at Timmons Arena. Elon improved to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in SoCon play with a 10-point win over league rival Western Carolina on Tuesday.

Saturday's game marks the first of seven straight road contests for the Paladins who are trying to avoid their first 0-6 start since the 1944-45 season. Furman has suffered three losses by nine of fewer points.

Following Saturday's game, Furman visits Mercer on Wednesday night before taking a 10-day break for final exams.
