Greenville, S.C. -- The Furman men's basketball team looks for its third straight Southern Conference win and fourth straight victory at Timmons Arena when it hosts The Citadel Monday at 7 p.m.
The final game of Furman's three-game homestand marks the 186th meeting in the all-time series between the Paladins and Bulldogs (6-13, 3-5 SoCon) with Furman holding a 107-78 advantage. Furman has won nine of the last 11 meetings, but the Bulldogs claimed a 65-53 win to eliminate Furman from the SoCon Tournament last season.
Along with Furman's normal broadcast on the Furman Radio Network and Yahoo.com, Monday's game will be aired on Sirius satellite radio on channel 181.
Following the battle with its cross-state rival, Furman (9-9, 3-4 SoCon) will travel to Appalachian State for a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday.
