Furman-South Carolina State Set For 4 P.M.

Greenville, S.C. -- Furman's 4 p.m. non-conference men's basketball showdown versus South Carolina State is still on schedule for this afternoon, according to director of athletics Mike Buddie.

Snow fall is expected to end early in the afternoon and temperatures are expected to rise into the 40's before game time, but fans are encouraged to use caution driving to and from campus.

The Paladins have a holiday celebration planned for today with Santa set to make an appearance, and the first 100 fans will receive a purple Santa hat. There will also be a Christmas sweater making station on site and the Paladins will be signing autographs postgame. Tickets for the game are available at the Timmons Arena Box Office or online at FurmanPaladins.com.

Saturday's game will be streamed on ESPN3 with the audio broadcast available on FoxSports 1440AM, TuneIn Radio on via Stretch Audio at FurmanPaladins.com.

The Paladins cap their five-game homestand and play their final home contest of 2017 on Thuirsday, December 14, when they host Montreat at 7 p.m. The game has been designated as a Throwback Night. Tickets are available for just $6 and all fans are encouraged to dig deep in the closet for a special Throwback Night look.
