Greenville, S.C. -- The Coach Niko Medved Show will debut for the 2015-16 season on Monday from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Shortfield's Restaurant in Travelers Rest, S.C., prior to Furman basketball opening a four-game homestand on Tuesday at Timmons Arena when it hosts Piedmont International.

Medved and Scott will discuss Furman's recent five-game road trip and upcoming homestand, while fans will have the opportunity to call in and ask questions of the third-year head coach of the Paladins.  Fans in attendance at Shortfield's will have a chance to win prizes, including tickets to upcoming Furman home games.

The Paladins open a four-game homestand on Tuesday at 7 p.m. when they welcome NCCAA member Piedmont International to Timmons Arena. Tuesday's matchup will mark the first meeting between the Paladins and Bruins.

Furman improved to 3-3 on the season by claiming a 69-60 victory over Northeast Conference preseason favorite Mount St. Mary's in its final game at the Battle 4 Atlantis on Friday afternoon in Elon, N.C.  The Paladins built a 44-27 lead before the Mountaineers used a 28-7 run to lead 55-51 with under six minutes to play.  Senior Stephen Croone assisted on back-to-back baskets, including a go-ahead three-pointer from Daniel Fowler, and Furman made 11-of-12 free throw attempts in the final 3:30 to pull away.

Croone paced the Paladins with 17 points while moving past the late Fessor "Moose" Leonard (1,426) and into 17th on Furman's all-time scoring ledger with 1,433 career points. Junior Kris Acox contributed 13 points and nine rebounds and Fowler posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards. Freshman Matt Rafferty, who has averaged 14 points and 10.2 rebounds through the first six games, added seven points and a career-best 13 rebounds.

Piedmont International is 0-5 on the season and dropped a 116-35 decision at Coastal Carolina in its last outing on November 21.

Tuesday's game will be streamed live on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app. It can be heard on the Furman IMG Radio Network at WGOG 101.7FM, FoxSports 1440AM and on the IHeart Radio app.
