Greenville, S.C. -- The Furman men's basketball team continues its preparation for the 2015-16 season when it hosts the North Greenville Crusaders in a 7 p.m. exhibition contest at Timmons Arena on Friday.

The contest marks the lone preseason exhibition for the Paladins, who open the regular season at home versus Presbyterian on November 13, before road trips to Appalachian State, Charlotte, UConn and the Battle 4 Atlantis preliminary round in Elon, N.C., on November 26-27.

Furman returns all five starters from a 2014-15 squad that knocked off The Citadel, Chattanooga and Mercer to reach the Southern Conference Tournament finals before falling to Wofford in the nationally-televised championship game last March.  The list of returnees include All-SoCon guard Stephen Croone, 2015 SoCon Freshman of the Year Devin Sibley, 2015 SoCon All-Freshman pick Daniel Fowler and the SoCon's leading rebounder from 2015 Kris Acox.

Head coach Niko Medved also added a significant amount of depth to this years team with Duquesne transfer forward Isaiah Watkins, freshman guard Jonathan Jean, freshman forward Matt Rafferty and Greenville County products Andrew Brown of Travelers Rest High School and Jalen Williams of Wade Hampton High School.

Single game tickets, including tickets for Friday's exhibition, and season tickets for Furman men's basketball are available at FurmanPaladins.com and at the Furman Box Office in Timmons Arena.

Live statistics through StatBroadcast will be available for Friday's game at FurmanPaladins.com.
