Furman SoCon Baseball To Air On WGOG-FM 96.3

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman Paladins Southern Conference Tournament baseball games will be broadcast by Upstate radio station WGOG-FM 96.3 and via the internet over Yahoo.com, it was announced today.

Furman, the eighth seed, will face top-seeded College of Charleston in first round action on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., with the winner playing Thursday at 4:00 p.m. against the winner of the Elon-UNC Greensboro contest. The loser of the Furman-College of Charleston contest will play the Elon-UNC Greensboro loser in an elimination game Thursday at 10:00 a.m.

Robbie Ross will call the play-by-play, and former Paladin second baseman Clint Hill will deliver color commentary.

The 2005 Southern Conference Tournament will be played at Charleston's Joseph P. Riley Park.
