Furman-Charlotte Baseball Game Canceled

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Wednesday's Furman-Charlotte baseball game has been canceled due to heavy rain in the Charlotte area, it has been announced. No makeup date has been determined at this time.

Furman (26-12, 12-3 SoCon) will return to action this weekend with a three-game Southern Conference series at UNC Greensboro (17-25, 6-9 SoCon) beginning Friday at 7:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday games are slated for 1:00 p.m. starts.

The Paladins are expected to throw junior righthander Matt Klinker (5-2, 3.41 ERA) against the Spartans on Friday, sophomore righthander Mason Smith (3-3, 5.09 ERA) on Saturday, and senior lefthander Ryan Hodinka (9-0, 4.34 ERA) in Sunday's finale.
