Friday Furman-Appalachian State Baseball Game Rained Out

BOONE, N.C. -- Friday's baseball game between Appalachian State and Furman has been postponed due to rain. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at noon Saturday at Red Lackey Field.

Furman (24-11, 10-2 SoCon) will throw junior righthander Matt Klinker (4-2, 3.57 ERA) in game one and sophomore righthander Mason Smith (3-2, 5.23 ERA) in game two.

The Paladins defeated sixth-ranked Clemson 5-4 on Wednesday and have won 13 of their last 16 games.
