General: Made a successful transition from the bullpen to the starting rotation a year ago and should again be a contender for a starting job this spring...strong competitor...sports a good fastball and changeup along with excellent control. 2004 -- Earned a spot in the starting rotation after two seasons as a reliever...posted a 3-2 record and 5.51 ERA in 67.0 innings of work...registered 13 starts in 14 total appearances...notched the staff's only complete game (9.0 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, 5K) in an 8-1 win over UNC-Greensboro en route to capturing Southern Conference Pitcher-of-the-Week honors ...other wins came over Louisiana-Lafayette (5.0 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 2 K) and Wofford (6.2 IP, 9 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 K). 2003 -- Saw action in nine games, all in relief...posted a 1-0 record with a 8.53 ERA...helped Furman to 32-24 record for most wins in school history...picked up his only win of the season against Georgia State, pitching 1 2/3 innings and allowing two runs on two hits...pinch ran and scored the game tying run in the ninth inning on a Sam McLain single in an eventual 4-3 win over Davidson. 2002 -- Made 13 appearances, all in relief...went 1-1 with a 12.89 ERA...picked up first career victory over UNC Asheville (1 IP, 2 H, 0 ER).
