General: Durable, veteran lefthander who will play a key role in Furman's bullpen this spring in long relief and setup duties...has worked primarily as a reliever but also counts some experience as a starter...top three pitches include fastball, curve, and changeup. 2005 -- Began the season as a member of the rotation, earning starts in his first three appearances before being moved back to the bullpen, where he excelled as a long reliever and setup man...posted a 5-3 record with a 5.57 ERA over 53 1/3 innings of action...helped spark Furman's strong late season run that led to a Southern Conference Tournament championship and NCAA Tournament appearance as part of a 30-29 campaign...went 5-1 with a 2.77 ERA in his final eight appearances (22.2 IP, 22 H, 7 ER, 17 K, 6 BB)...earned a win in relief in the Paladins' 3-2 victory over 18th-ranked Tennessee (2.2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 K)...also picked up a win in 6-2 triumph over 13th-ranked South Carolina (2.1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K)...played a crucial role in the Paladins' SoCon Tournament championship run, earning victories in a 9-7 triumph over top-seed and 20th-ranked College of Charleston (3.0 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 1 K) in opening round game and 5-4 win over Georgia Southern (2.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 K) in championship contest...hurlded 2 1/3 innings of shutout ball against Georgia Tech in Paladins' eventual 5-4 10-inning loss to Yellow Jackets in NCAA Tournament first round action. 2004 -- Registered a significant increase in action, making 23 appearances, nearly all in relief...went 3-3 with a 4.22 ERA...totaled 42 2/3 innings of work...fashioned his best and longest outing of the season in a 12-7 loss to Georgia Southern (5.2 IP, 3 H, 0 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 1 K)...earned his first win of the season in a 7-6 decision over Elon (2.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 K)...earned his second victory in his only start of the season, a 14-0 win over Charleston (3.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB)...evened his record at 3-3 in his last outing of the season, an 18-7 win over East Tennessee State (4.0 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K). 2003 -- Saw limited action in six games , pitching a total of 4.1 innings.
