General: Should figure prominently into Furman's bullpen plans, most likely in long relief and setup roles...throws a heavy fastball, giving him ability to deliver ground balls...sports a good curve ball...control will be key to increased playing time. 2005 -- Recorded one save in 12 relief appearances...worked 15 1/3 innings and notched a 4.11 ERA...pitched effectively in 10 of 12 contests...top outing (and save) came in 11-5 win at 20th-ranked South Carolina (4.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 K)...worked 2 2/3 innings of shutout ball in 11-4 victory at Gardner-Webb...appeared in Furman's NCAA Tournament first round game against fourth-ranked Georgia Tech, striking out the only batter he faced with two outs and two runners on in the bottom of the ninth to preserve a 4-4 tie (Furman eventually lost 5-4 in 10 innings)...had only one bad outing, a 21-10 loss at Elon (3.0 IP, 9 H, 8 R, 6 ER, 4 BB, 1 K)...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll. 2004 -- Registered 15 appearances, all in relief, and compiled aqn 0-1 record with a solid 3.38 ERA...held opponents scoreless in 10 of his 15 appearances...hurled an inning of scoreless relief against UNC Asheville (9-3 win) and Appalachian State (11-2 win)...yielded a run in a season long 2 1/3 innings of action in the Paladins' season ending 15-10 win over East Tennessee State. 2003 --Made his only appearance of the season in a 14-4 loss to UNC Greensboro (1.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER).
