Women's Cross Country Finishes Fourth, Men's Seventh at Disney Classic

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The women's cross country team had an excellent showing at the Disney Cross Country Classic this weekend, finishing fourth out of 44 teams.

Freshman Jenna Callahan led the Lady Paladins with a third place finish out of 366 runners and a time of 18:05. Brittany Johnson also helped the Lady Paladins with a time of 18:29 and a 13th place finish. All of the female runners finished in the top half of the field.

The Furman men also ran well, despite poor weather conditions, and finished seventh out of 41 teams in the race. Patrick Morgan was the top finisher for the men, finishing 12th out of 327 participants with a time of 25:59.27.

Both teams return to action this weekend at home, hosting the Furman Cross Country Invitational.
