GREENVILLE, S.C. - Brittany Johnson's second-place finish paced the Lady Paladins at the Citadel Invitational this weekend, while the men were led by Patrick Morgan's first-place finish.

Five of the Lady Paladins finished in the top 10 of the Division I 5K, including Johnson (18:18.56), freshman Jenna Callahan (18:49.14), senior Lisa Mulvey (18:49.63), senior Page Bridges (18:56.14), and senior Holly Stewart (18:57.71).

The women finished with a total 34 points, 16 points ahead of the second-place team, College of Charleston.

The men's team was equally successful, placing three athletes in the top 10 and earning a second-place finish, behind Davidson. Patrick Morgan paced the Paladins with a time of 25:24.31, coming in more than 30 seconds ahead of the no. 2 runner. Joseph Tenini finished sixth (26:31.87) and Michael Warner finished ninth (26:52.41) to round out the Paladins' top ten.

Both teams are back in action again next weekend at the Disney Invitational.
