2002-03: Named All-SoCon after placing third in the javelin at the SoCon Championships with a mark of 162'4"...Took victories in the javelin at Furman Invitational and Emory meet... Also participated in Long Jump...Member of SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
2001-02: Became Furman's first Southern Conference men's field champion since 1993 when he won the Southern Conference javelin title with a season-best mark of 187'7"... Also placed second in the javelin at the Furman Invitational and was third at the Clemson Relays... Took sixth in the shot put at Furman with a put of 30'8-1/4"... Member of Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
High School: Ran the 400m and 800m, was a long jumper and threw the javelin for coach Bruce Pratt... Holds a personal best in the javelin of 177'6" and 19'8" in the long jump... Ran the 400m in 53.0 and the 800m in 2:02... Recipient of the Computer Programming, PreCalculus, Honor Chemistry, and Latin Awards... Named indoor track MVP as a junior and was a three-time all-conference selection in soccer... Also named soccer MVP as a sophomore.
