Furman Women's Cross Country Places Fourth At SoCon Championship Meet; Men Finish Sixth

ophomore Chloe Kowalski placed second in the individual race to lead the Furman women's cross country team to a fourth place finish at the 2009 Southern Conference Cross Country Championship Meet on Saturday morning in Elon, N.C. The Paladin men's team finished sixth with 146 points behind a ninth-place finish by junior Charlie McGoogan.

Furman Cross Country Teams To Compete At SoCon Championship Saturday

The Furman men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Southern Conference Championship Meet on Saturday in Elon, N.C. This will be the 80th Annual Southern Conference Cross Country Championship for the men, and the 25th for the women. Admission is free to the public.

Furman Cross Country Teams Win Winthrop Fall Classic

The Furman men's and women's cross country teams won the Winthrop Fall Classic meet Saturday in Rock Hill, S.C. Junior Charles McGoogan won the men's 6K meet with a time of 18:27.11 to lead the Paladins to first place out of nine teams with 35 points.
