The Bulldog Invitational will be hosted by Samford on Friday. Participating teams include: McNeese State, South Alabama, UAB, Southern Illinois, South Florida, Kennesaw State, Troy, Louisiana-Lafayette, and Furman. Field events will begin at 10:30 a.m. CT, with running events to follow at noon CT. The meet will conclude with the 4x400m at approximately 4 p.m. CT.
"We are very excited about both of this weekend's meets," said Furman head coach Robert Gary. "We are taking a small group to Iowa State, where we have focused the indoor season toward competing against the very best distance runners in the country. The remainder of the team will return to Birmingham for the third year in a row, where we have achieved a lot of personal bests. We are two weeks out from the indoor national championships, and this is an exciting time for our program."
