Sophomore Year (2014-15): Named the SoCon Cross Country Runner of the Year after winning the league individual title with a time of 16:44.42…placed ninth with a time of 20:35.7 at the NCAA Southeast Regional meet to earn all-region honors and qualify for the NCAA Championships…placed 156th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships…honored as the SoCon Indoor Track Most Outstanding Athlete and Most Outstanding Track Performer after winning the mile with a time of 4:58.17 and placing second in both the 3,000m (9:45.21) and the 5,000m (17:08.87)…qualified for the NCAA East Preliminaries in the 3,000m Steeplechase, where she finished 40th with a time of 10:30.32…set a new Paladin record after placing ninth with a time of 10:13.10 in the 3,000m Steeplechase at the Stanford Invitational…honored as the SoCon Outdoor Track Freshman of the Year after winning the 1,500m title with a time of 4:27.41 and finishing second in the 5,000m with a time of 17:34.25 at the league championship meet…named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team for outdoor track in both the 1,500m and 5,000m…competed on the Paladin 4x800m relay team that set a new school record with a time of 9:02.33 at the Sea Ray Relays…named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Freshman Year (2013-14): One of six athletes chosen to represent Team USA as a member of the junior national cross country team at the Bupa Great Edinburgh XC International Challenge in Edinburgh, Scotland…placed 18th with a time of 15:15 in the 4K race…earned All-American honors after placing second at the USA Jr. XC Championships in Boulder, Colo…landed a spot on the All-Southeast Region cross country team after placing tenth with a time of 20:43.4 on the 6K course at the 2013 NCAA Southeast Region Championships…named the 2013 SoCon Women's Cross Country Freshman of the Year after placing second with a time of 17:32.43 at the league championship meet and helping Furman to a conference title, its first since 2000…also selected to the All-SoCon first team and the SoCon All-Freshman Team…garnered individual All-Academic Honors for posting a 3.25 or higher GPA and placing among the top 15 finishers at the region meet...selected to the SoCon Indoor Track All-Freshman Team after finishing third in the 3,000m with a time of 10:04.48 and fifth in the mile with a time of 5:08.27…named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Personal: Alexandra (Allie) Cecelia Buchalski was born on January 12, 1995, in Dunwoody, Ga.…daughter of Jim and LuRae Buchalski…cousin, Jaycelyn Holland, was a member of Furman's rugby club team from 2005-09 and competed on the 2008 South Carolina U-23 All-Star team…aunt, Marva Rawlings, was a point guard on the basketball team at Union University from 1977-81 and set the school record, which stood for 27 years, for most assists per season…is a double-major in business administration and art.
