The Furman cheerleaders are hosting a "Be a Furman Junior Cheerleader for a Day" clinic in October. The clinic will Friday, October 17th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm in the Alley Gym (aka the "old gym") near the back gate on the Furman University Campus. The event will include dinner and lots of cheerleading!

Junior cheerleaders will also participate in the pre-game festivities with the Furman Cheerleaders the next day (Saturday, October 18th). They will participate in the Paladin Walk as well as show off their new cheerleading skills in the pre-game festivities on the field! Saturday festivities will begin at 12:30pm and end with the kick-off as the Furman Paladins take on the Citadel Bulldogs.

The clinic director is Jennifer Johnson, 4-year Varsity Furman cheerleader with 18 years or experience in coaching and directing cheerleading and gymnastics programs at all levels. The clinic will be staffed by current Varsity Furman cheerleaders.
