Congratulations to the two 2009-10 Furman Cheerleading Team Captains, Z'Ashely Burns and Ambra Yarbrough. Both are seniors and are currently cheering for Furman for their fourth year.

Ambra Yarbrough is from Travelers Rest, SC and a graduate of Travelers Rest High School. At Furman she is a communication studies major with an emphasis in psychology. Ambra has been cheering since first grade. She has cheered with the area Youth Association, Northwest Middle School, Travelers Rest High School and Furman University. Ambra has also been a Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) cheer instructor for two summers. This year starts her 16th year of cheerleading!
Ambra is also a member of the Senior Order and the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Society. This past summer Ambra interned at the Carolina Center for Behavioral Health and was recently hired to be a recreational therapist.
