FURMAN MEN’S LACROSSE
Phase 1: Locker Room + Turf Field
Goal: $2.7 MILLION
Phase 1 includes renovations to the existing locker room, which will be dedicated in Jackson Roberts’ honor, the Class I Victory Hallway, and plans to install a dedicated turf field for lacrosse on campus. For even more information, photos, and a more elaborate description, the Phase 1 Vision presentation may be viewed here.
Beyond enabling the program to elevate the profile for Furman Lacrosse, it is immensely important for us to honor the life of Jackson Roberts – a lacrosse teammate and student coach who left us too early – and celebrate the legacy that began with Class I.
THE MATCH CHALLENGE
- Every gift made will have double the impact until we raise $500,000.
- The matching dollars will be applied as gifts come in, which will allow us to reach our goal to renovate the locker room much faster.
- Once the matching dollars are exhausted, we will have completed the funding for the locker room and will have a substantial head start on the turf field installation.
Donors can be recognized for their generosity through a variety of naming opportunities: Note: Chart was last updated February 6, 2019
The locker room will be named in honor of Jackson Roberts and the entryway will be named Class I Victory Hallway.
