GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman director of athletics Dr. Gary Clark today announced the launch of the Furman Fan Zone Online Store through the school's official athletics website www.furmanpaladins.com.

The online store features officially licensed university merchandise offered through Awards and Sports as well as new Furman Nike merchandise, which is only available online. More products will be added throughout the year.

"We're pleased to offer our fans this option in purchasing Furman apparel and merchandise and the ease in which it can be secured through the internet," said Clark in making the announcement. "It also affords our fans the opportunity to support Furman athletics as proceeds from every purchase made through the online store go directly to the athletics department."

The Furman Fan Zone Online Store is the first of several new features planned for Furman's official athletics website in the coming months. Later this fall the university will launch its new redesigned website, which will also include added features such as auctions and online video content.
